Our role
Weafmall Uganda is a marketplace. Some products are sold by us directly, and others by independent sellers who use the platform to reach buyers. The product page shows which shop is supplying an item.
Where an independent seller supplies the goods, the contract of sale is between that seller and the buyer. That seller is responsible for the goods, their description and any warranty. We set the standards they must meet, mediate disputes, and act when a seller falls short.
Seller obligations under Ugandan law
- Sellers must be entitled to trade and to sell the goods they list.
- Goods must be genuine, safe, correctly labelled, and legal to sell in Uganda.
- Restricted goods require the relevant licence before they may be listed.
- Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations, including fiscal invoicing where it applies to them.
Reporting a listing
If you believe a listing is counterfeit, unsafe, misleading, or infringes your intellectual property, contact us with:
- the link to the listing;
- what specifically is wrong with it;
- for an intellectual property complaint, evidence of your right and confirmation that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
We review reports and remove listings that breach our policies or the law. We may pass a complaint to the seller so they can respond.
